Thanks to all our friends for an amazing month...we remembered our cameras and have posted pics of everyone on our myspace page. After this long, hard winter, it has been good to get together, play some music and drink whiskey with our friends. We are locking down dates right now to work with The Key Club. They produced songs for Franz Ferdinand, The Kills, Fiery Furnaces and so many more killer bands. We are insanely excited about getting into the studio with them and experiencing everything that comes with working with producers that are on that level. We will be in Kalamazoo @ The Corner Bar celebrating Drummer Matt's Birthday on 4/10/9 (he hates his birthday, so the more obnoxious, the better) and our good friend Moonie's B-day is that night too...get there early because there are some WMU students comng in vans and its gonna be packed...
We are heading back out to Indy & Nashville mid-month & at the Nashville shows we are going to raise money for The Providence Park Relief Fund. So come give us your money and we will hand it over to Habitat before we roll out of town. The shows are on our live page including a sweet day @ Grimey's for National Record Store Day (http://www.recordstoreday.com/Artist/847415) Mute Math, The Avett Brothers and Stardeath & White Dwarfs will be playing also so we can't wait to see them live and just be a part of it.
For now, we are playing out as much as possible and getting out to see our friends all around the Midwest, south & east coast. We continue to feel ridiculously happy that we get to hit the stage and play as much as we do. Every show turns into more and more insane fun, especially when those hot girls get on stage and dance with us! We are going to be in a movie called 'Rock On Michigan'...we know that Bob Seager and Jeff Daniels are in it, but that's all we know so far. When we get the details on the live filmed performance we'll send out an email so that we can get everyone together for the taping (hopefully they'll have and open bar;) Click the widget below if you want to donate to Habitat & we hope to see everyone out!
